Overview
A gear rental marketplace with three roles. Customers browse and book gear and pay through Stripe Checkout, providers list and manage their gear and fulfill orders, and admins moderate users, listings, and orders. Includes email and Google sign-in, role-protected dashboards, and URL-based filters.

Challenges faced

Keeping sessions accurate
What went wrong
A token's claims are frozen at login, so a role change or a suspension would not take effect until the token expired.

Google sign-in without a library
What went wrong
Adding Google sign-in safely without relying on an auth library.

Keeping tokens off the browser
What went wrong
Client-side data fetching normally needs the access token in the browser.
